W Davies, Our History
W. Davies & Son was founded by William Davies in 1909, originally specialising in criminal law. In 1919 the firm was named honorary solicitor to Woking Chamber of Trade and Commerce, a position that is still held today. From the 1960s onwards, W. Davies & Son moved away from criminal matters, in order to specialise in Commercial Property, Litigation and Private Client affairs. In 2006, W. Davies & Son merged with Tilbrook Turner Foster (another long-standing legal firm in Woking) to become W. Davies. In 2010 the firm’s practice was extended to include a new family law department. As of 1st July 2014, W. Davies changed its status from a partnership to that of a limited liability company.
We are now W. Davies & Son Limited, practising as W Davies Solicitors.
