Our costs

The Solicitors Regulatory Authority of England and Wales requires authorised firms to publish information as to costs in relation to various types of legal services, under the SRA Transparency Rules.

Basic & Standard Charges

We charge on either a fixed fee or an hourly rate basis depending upon the work required.  Each of our lawyers has their own hourly rate based on expertise and years of qualification, taking into consideration factors such as the complexity and value involved.

Our standard hourly rates range from £75 to £375 plus VAT. For more details please contact the relevant Head of Department.

At the outset of your matter, your solicitor will inform you what work will need to be undertaken and provide you with an estimate as to costs.  Where applicable our solicitors would be happy to provide you with regular cost updates on request.

Some detailed examples, including probable costs, can be seen on the following links:

Disbursements & other charges

Any necessary disbursements or payments to third parties made on your behalf will be charged to you.

This could include Search fees, Court fees, and fees paid to Barristers and Expert Witnesses.

Alternative Fee Structures

We offer fixed fees and ‘no win, no fee’ agreements where appropriate.

There are specific circumstances and requirements for these structures, therefore for more details please speak to the relevant Head of Department.
