About Us
Our Approach
We believe you, the client, come first. We are proud to have many long-standing clients, for whom we have acted for many years on both personal and business matters. By listening carefully to our clients, we understand and adhere to their main requirements.
After considering your needs, we give you the answers. We want to make things easy for you, discussing matters in plain English, cutting out the jargon.
We aim to ensure that all correspondence from our clients is dealt with promptly. We assign one solicitor to your matter to see it through to its conclusion. Specialist colleague advice is always on hand, but we aim to do all we can to provide a seamless, quality service and the continuity you would like.
We aim to deliver clear, cost-effective advice on all matters.
Our History
W. Davies & Son was founded by William Davies in 1909, originally specialising in criminal law. In 1919 the firm was named honorary solicitor to Woking Chamber of Trade and Commerce, a position that is still held today. From the 1960s onwards, W. Davies & Son moved away from criminal matters, in order to specialise in Commercial Property, Litigation and Private Client affairs. In 2006, W. Davies & Son merged with Tilbrook Turner Foster (another long-standing legal firm in Woking) to become W. Davies.
As of 1st July 2014, W. Davies changed its status from a partnership to that of a limited liability company.
We are now W. Davies & Son Limited, practising as W Davies Solicitors.
