About Anna Rabin
Anna graduated in 1994 from The University of Leeds with a degree in Law with European Law (having spent one year at Uppsala University, in Sweden). She completed her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in 1996 and after training she qualified as a solicitor in 1998.
With over 20 years’ experience in Construction Law, Anna’s expertise and opinion in her specialist areas have frequently been sought by the professional press and by leading publishers. She has written for construction, engineering and legal journals. She is a key contributor to the 2004 reissue of Volume 5 (Building and Engineering Contracts) of the Encyclopaedia of Forms and Precedents and to the 2006 reissue of Volume 38(1), the 2007 reissue of Volume 38(3) (Sale of Land) of the same publication (LexisNexis Butterworths), the international book Delay Clauses in International Construction Projects, September 2010 (Kluwer) and is the Consultant editor for the reissue of ‘Building Contracts’, Volume 6 Halsbury’s Laws of England.
Anna won the Lawyer Monthly Women in Law Awards – Construction Lawyer of 2016 and 2017 and won the Best Business Women Awards in the category of Legal Services 2018 and the Global Business Insight Awards 2018 – Best in Construction Law Consultancy 2018 – United Kingdom. She is a member of the Society of Construction Law (SCL) and of the Technology and Construction Solicitors Association (TeCSA).
Anna enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family.
