About Jo Oldman
Wills, Trusts & Probate Team
Jo graduated with a BSc in Psychology and Criminology from Roehampton in 2009. Then she completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Law at Kingston University (2009-2011).
Following her degree, between 2011 and 2013 she studied for her LPC at Bloomsbury’s University of Law in London.
During her training contract in a busy Local Authority (Slough), she developed her passion for Community Care Law, including Deputyship applications.
Upon qualifying as a solicitor in 2016, Jo assumed a mixed role in Family Law and Private Client with KJ Smith Solicitors.
In 2018, Jo joined W Davies’ Private Client team. Being very interested in Probate matters, she is continually augmenting her skills in this practice area. In addition, she engages in drafting of Wills and preparation of LPAs as well as Deputyship matters.
Outside work, Jo is a dementia friend. Apart from helping dementia sufferers, this helps her to understand better the nature of living with the condition, so that she can use that comprehension in practical terms.
